That was a great game last night. Ot win after a pick to shut pitt down. Good times.
Tried fishing with my nephew today and got the big skunk. Both of us. Not a single bite. Lame. Now I am laid up on my couch fearing having to walk upstairs to bed.

The Copper Onion is a pretty tasty place. I had the meat loaf, made with lamb, pork, and beef, with some pine nuts and other such tasty things. Pretty freakin tasty. Overall, a very good restaurant. Watched a few episodes of True Blood when we got home. Thats a good show, once you get past all the nudity and craziness...

some time ago, I was waiting for something. It never really reared its head, but I always knew I was waiting for it to happen. I still feel like this. That something is eventually going to show up and jump start me into whatever I am supposed to do. I think its time that I make it up myself, because I've been waiting for a really long time

I read an open letter to the president as written by Jon Voight. That dude is a scary guy. I don't quite see his thought process. I tried to go into it with an open mind, but he really lost me when he started in on the whole tea party/blah blah blah....

I never liked Jon Voight. Not even a little. Not a good actor. I don't like his daughter either, though. Ms Jolie. I don't find her attractive at all. Her lips are too big, and her weirdness is too weird. I feel bad for mr tied down pitt.

Application still in processing status. Applied 2 weeks ago. I plan on taking an online math refresher this fall and then going full time in the spring. I've been trying to teach myself basic c# language, which will definitely help get me ready for school. Exciting...

Pre-ordered Madden 11. I look forward to it. The demo is sweet, the new play calling by down is a cool touch, and the truck stick moves are much more fluid.

Tuesday's gone with the wind....

Like a vulture, time is swooping down to gnaw away on the remains of the day. How long ago did I get hurt? A long long time. Holy shit man. I also want to comment on the weather. It was cool enough to open windows and allow for a breeze.

So do I take advantage of this situation, or do I sit idly by and watch the world go by? Unfortunately, I have been watching waaay more than participating lately. It's pretty easy to say I am going to start making the most of my time, but what would make the next days, weeks, months, years any different than the last year and months have been? Its all about the attitude, and I have to admit that my attitude sucks lately. Everything seems to rub me the wrong way. I stare at a tv that has nothing on, I found out that if you go to every website there is that isn't porn, it can be done in just over 16 months. God knows how long if you include porn sites.

Perfect time to say hello. Try to reach the top. Go for it. Push the envelope. Etc.

You could say I have wasted this time, and you'd be right. Instead of being motivated, I have just laid around bitching and complaining about such pointless shit. So my back is messed up and it hurts to walk, talk, stand, sit, lay, and especially to sneeze. So what...

I should have a degree by now. I should be in my junior year at the u. How can I complain about my back for so long and not do anything constructive? It is hard to focus on many things, but that's something I should be able to get around. Spadoinkle

Red Dead Redemption. Wow. I was looking forward to playing it, seeing if the open world of a wild west setting would work well or not. It does. The story, animation, game play, and controls are all perfect. The story is of an ex gunslinger/criminal. He is tasked with the job of bringing the surviving members of his old gang to justice. The government has given him a little motivation by holding his wife and son in "protective custody" until he completes his task.

The game takes place in "New Austin", which is a fictitious state that encompasses everything from the high Rockies to the lowland marshes in Louisiana. You also travel across the border to Mexico to help start the Mexican Revolution.

John Marston is the main character. You take him through several missions that range from man hunts to horse breaking and night watch in small towns. Over 25 different animals are also represented that are all hunt-able and skinnable. There are different challenges that you must kill different animals, pick plants, search treasure, and practice your aim. They get significantly harder as you go along.
It would be next to impossible to describe the freedom and adventure this game delivers. I give this a 9.6 out of 10, only limited because I don't like one character's voice, you cannot swim, and sometimes when you are killed you will re-spawn clear across the country from where you have been. There is also the occasional bug that makes you load a saved game to get out of it.

I consider this a must buy for anyone looking for a highly entertaining, incredibly challenging game.

Very tired of this. Not getting the results I was hoping for, but its still pretty early. I think with some pt and a different pharmaceutical cocktail, things might get a lot better. Everything is grinding the wrong way right now. Hopefully my mood improves soon, as all I want to do now is nothing. Where did all the fun go?

Happy 24th everyone! Means nothing if you aren't in Utah, but celebrate anyways!

How come the more movies you see, the less you want to see? God I'm bored and stir crazy. Unfortunately my incisions are still a little sore so I can't ride in a car comfortably. Good times. The programming was changed Thursday, so that seemed to help quite a bit.

Just reapplied at the U to focus in computer science. Cram a degree in, then move to Vancouver to work for Rockstar or EA. Sit in a cubicle and go through lines of code to make sure they have no errors, then implement them into the engine and hope it works. Eventually I will hopefully understand what that entails.

Surgery update=everything went well-hurts a bit though

So one thing to point out right away is that making someone who is dealing with chronic, debilitating back pain lay on their stomach should be considered cruel and unusual punishment. Talk about horrible lower back pain! The actual incisions don't really hurt. It's the rest of my back that is killing me.

I expect this to work well. So that means everything is on the up and up!!

I have surgery thursday morning. Not very invasive, outpatient, should be quick and easy...

I also traded in my old system and got the new 360. Much improved over the old one. Faster, quieter, even seems to have better graphics, but that might be me.

my 360 hard drive just died. A week before I trade it in on the new one, now it is broken. Thank god for a flash drive!!
